Alderman Blackman is serving his third term on the Board of Aldermen.
Alderman Blackman attended the university of Southern Mississippi studying Construction Engineering Technology. A lifelong resident of Jackson County he has lived in Ocean Springs for 16 years and is currently employed as the Business Operations Manager at Complete Contracting LLC. He is a former Building Official for the City of Ocean Springs and served a term on the Ocean Springs Planning Commission prior to being elected to the Board of Alderman. Alderman Blackman has served 8 years as an assisting Alderman to the Finance Director and continues to serve in that role this current term. He also served as Mayor Pro-Tempore in 2019-2020.
