Consisting of two phases, this will replace the eastern portion of the Front Beach sidewalk. Funded by Tidelands, the project is in the process of close-out, thanks to the work from Jay Bearden Construction. $343,175 was allocated towards the completion of Phase 1.
Phase 2 of this work will be supported through FEMA and Jackson County, as well as the GOMESA funds provided for similar beach improvements. The second phase has been awarded.
